The original Duck's logo was a roughly cut out, stylized photo of a wooden duck and the logo text changed everytime it was placed on anything. The challenge was to re-design the logo to give consistency but keep the same duck head. The awkward shape made text placement difficult which is probably why they never settled on one layout previously. I needed to do something to fix the shape without making changes to the duck. There had to be a body added so I used the "d" on "Duck's" to finish out the body and at the same time made the text and logo fit togther perfectly.
