AI Automation With Human Oversight

To help get content for my stamp site, I built a Claude skill. I wanted to automate some of it to speed up the process. In the end, I discovered I could create an entire process with human input and approval.

I give Claude the stamp image; it generates the description and gathers other data, fact-checks it, then shows me a draft. I approve or revise. Then it compares against what's already in my collection and shows me a side-by-side before anything gets saved. I decide whether to update, append, or abandon.

Skills don't have to be pure automation. You can design them as full workflows that include stops for human input. The repetitive parts like structure, fact-checking, and comparison are taken care of by Claude. The decisions like final content, duplicate handling, and what stays in my collection are me. I'm not giving Claude full control of the work but embedding myself in the process.
